hey all,

sorry for not updating my blog.. anyway, do visit http://addalex.blogspot.com. There's some updates on my kuching trip.

As for my hols so far, i am still working and will only end work by end of this month. well, doc sau went to collect the make over photos after they had been developed on monday. They are kinda weird coz i am not used to myself wearing such heavy make up. I still prefer without make up. Guess i am still use to being a "plain jane" heh..

Had been sick ever since i came back from kuching. But i started my shopping spree this week shortly after i have recovered! Did my enrollment too.. the timetable seem better for this semester hence i am thinking of getting a part time job when i go back especially with the sharp increase in my uni fees!

Have been trying to spend time with my mum and sisters ever since i came back. Did try to visit  my grandma weekly.  She's still quite unwilling to seek treatment with the physiotherapist.. Am thinking of visiting her more often when i stop work.

Life is so fragile.. i went to the hospital yesterday to visit an uncle who has been suffering from cancer for 2 yrs. I felt so sad when i saw him last night and it seemed that his condition has worsen.He is so  thin and frail.. Health is important..it really is..





 

This is my 2nd week back from adelaide.. Have not got a chance to meet up with most of my frens yet.. HOwever, i did spend most of my time with my family last week and i had been busy bringing eng poh around spore for the past few days. He reached spore on wed night. His stay here was really pleasant and my family members have been really hopsitable. Anyway, doc sau managed to meet him as both of us had to bring jing to he clinic for her check up. Then i brought him to have mutton soup at al-alza. We went to orchard later on in the afternoon and after which we managed to catch the movie ' the incredibles". It was a nice show! 
we managed to take the neo print card at HMV.. nice nice

Then, friday we met da jie for lunch at thai express (hv) before meeting hq and her sister at coffee beans. It was very nice to introduce him to my frens. The day ended after we went to suntec city and explanade.

Saturday was the day out vwith my sisters and their bfs to sentosa.. then dad came to fetch us with his office van and the whole family including my 2 cousins went to east coast to cycle and have sea food!
It was indeed a wonderful dal out ..

Sunday morning we went to church and then lunch at the essential brew (hv) where ting works.. Delicious food!! yummy.. He went off at 3.50pm to take an express bus to johore airport and from there take an internal flight back to penang.

Can't wait to see him again in 3 weeks time where we will meet each other at joanne's wedding in kuching... heh

REached spore on sunday 7.30pm...

 Thank you so much -joanne, ben and the four boys for picking me up at the airport with my da jie and jing. There was a slight delay during the flight and i agree with you fiona that the standard of SIA drpooed. Anyway, i reached home and my dad cooked green bean soup and bee hoon so i i had my fourth meal of the day.. haha.. Called huiqing and docs sau also called. WEll, guess wat i started working for doc sau on monday. This time will be part time so i will only work on monday, tuesday, wednesday and friday from 9-5pm. Can wait for all you gals to finish your exams then we can all meet up!!!! Oh i got a prepaid line. Will give to you all soon..

Sorry for not updating about my life here since 2nd semester started.

Am going back to spore on the 21st november!!!! haha.. i just go my confirmation of the early flight this evening!
 CAn't wait to come home... i promise to meet up with you all and update you all about what had been happening. As for now is less than 2 weeks to my first paper.. hmm... lots to study. Anyway, i am coping quite well here. Till i see you all..

My time table this semester is pretty alright..  tue and thursday i can go off by 12pm.

melbourne... great place! i found my long lost primary school friend name fiona and met up with jacinth! by the way, i'll try to download the pix but i need to wait for my friends to send the pictures to me as i have no digital camera.

 Reached the coach station around friday 6.45am. shopped around a whole stretch of factory outlets for the whole day and met jacinth for lunch! Later at night we joined one of the ocf centre in melbourne that night for their pot-luck. They were very hospitable and thank God that i met my primary school friend (fiona) as she attends the same ocf ! I stayed at her house for that night and we stayed up to catch up till 3.30am...hee

 Saturday was more shopping around chinatown and we took the free city tram . Melbourne's city is 3 times as big comapred to adelaide. The roads are so complex with tram line in between the roads. I'll be scare to drive there.. so complicated! At night we walked around the Crown- a big entertainment centre with casino, arcade, cinema, club, pub, food court all in one place plus the hotel! Gosh.. really happening. We walked till 3am.. tiring..

 Sunday morning we went to the same church that both jacinth and fiona plus the ocfers attend. It was pretty good. Not too conservative nor charasmatic. Then after lunch there was more exploring around the victoria market. It's like our pasar malam.. cheap clothes, shoes, bags and food etc.. I bought fruits! heh..That evening I visited a church called the city church where it's charasmatic. Their band is called Planet Shakers from Adelaide's Paradise church. Paradise is very popular church in Adelaide just like hillsongs in sydney. Yupz.. coincidentally both sermons on that day were on Giving.
Dinner was at this indonesian restuarant. Yummy food!  

Sunday i went to church and introduced yoshimi to joanne.
It's nice to introduce them coz at least yoshimi know one more person from that church .
We went to buy drinks for the suishi party and i bought toothbrush coz last minute she asked me to stay over at her place.

 Just got back to port adelaide..
 
  Had a great time with yoshimi .. she's a great host!
Tuesday morning i went to uni and settled my 2nd semster time table. I also got the forms to apply for work visa. Then Yoshimi and her bf drove us down to Elizabeth where there was the Levi warehouse sales and I got a pair of levi jeans for 30 bucks , one top for darling and myself which cost 15 bucks each.. haha.. so cheap! After which we just went for dinner at this chinese restuarant with another fren of theirs. After dinner, yoshi and i just trimmed and dyed each other's hair. My hair is black red now and somehow yoshi's hair which was supposed to be mango colour turned out similar to mine.. maybe wrong packaging..

  Wednesday morning we just watched dvd coz it was raining and then we went to town and took photos and had coffee at gloria jeans. Dinner was at my cell group fren's house. Delicious pizza! Had a great  fellowship with my cell members and i thank God that yoshi enjoyed herself too!

  Thursday morning we woke up late and went to this place call Parade which was near yoshi's place. Parade is just one long street of shops with a very big cinema and a few nice cafes.There was this organic shop which sells healthy organic food and we bought yougurt coated sultanas and honey. WE were craving for pasties but after walking up and down parade there were no nice and cheap pasties! disappointing. Well, we have decided to get pasties rom the central market tml before ocf!

  Time really past so quickly, especially when we are enjoying ourselves in the holiday! Anyway, not sure if i'm still going to melbourne.. seems like only the guys are going and i'll be the only gal.. i'll only go if there are a few gals.

 Downloading songs now.. all the duets are so nice! i wanna  sing karaoke.. Miss the singing sessions with the gals and my family back home! heh.. wait till nov. According to my frens, ktv here not that good . Oh yes, doc sau has agreed to let me work part time in the clinic when i'm back in nov... haha.. i need money to go back next july!

 sat morning was my last paper and after that i went out for lunch with 4 of my course mates at this pancake place name " betties" . After which i was supposed to meet some of the sporeans for basketball game but there was some miscommunication and i ended up chatting and eating grapes at one of my fren's place together with her bf.. i was the lightbulb! heh.They were very nice to send me home that nite!

 sunday i went to aacc instead the of the methodist church that i've been attending a few weeks ago. There was a celebration for the 2 pastors' 40th year of serving the Lord! i know one of them quite well so i just went. After that i rushed off to the hopsital coz one of my cell gp member 's ear had infection. We all prayed for her and guess wat!! i just receive news from her that she's recovering so well that she dun need to even go for the op that was scheduled after her exams!!!! Praise the Lord for the miracle! haha..

 By the way, i'm getting quite close to 2 japanese gals from the same course ever since exams and i'll be staying over at one's of their house for 3 days 2 nites! we are dyeing our hair and going to shop at the levi factory... so exciting!! heh.. busy shopping today to get the last min stuff for tml's stayover!! haha..holiday is really quite fun! i'm waiting to confirm if i can join the ocfers to melbourne in a week's time. Thank you mummy for letting me go!!
